What Is The
Chemical Peels Procedure

Preparation:
The skin is cleaned thoroughly before the procedure. -
Application:
One or more chemical solutions are applied (e.g. glycolic acid, trichloroacetic acid) to small areas of the skin to create a controlled wound. -
Sensation:
During the peel, a burning sensation may be felt lasting 5 to 10 minutes, followed by stinging. Cool compresses can help ease discomfort. -
Pain Management:
For deeper peels, pain medication is suggested during or after the procedure.
