Vampire Facial Procedure

Preparation:

Blood Draw:
A small amount of the patient's blood is drawn from a vein, usually in the arm, using a sterile syringe. -
Centrifugation:
The blood sample is then placed in a centrifuge machine, which spins at high speeds to separate the components of the blood. This process isolates the platelets and plasma from other blood cells. -
Platelet-Rich Plasma Collection:
After centrifugation, the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is carefully extracted from the sample using a syringe or specialised kit. -
Preparation of Injection Site:
The area of the body targeted for treatment is cleaned and sterilised to reduce the risk of infection. -
Injection:
The concentrated PRP is then injected directly into the affected area using a fine needle. The injection may be guided by imaging techniques such as ultrasound or fluoroscopy to ensure precise placement. -
Post-Injection Care:
After the injection, the patient may be advised to rest the treated area and avoid strenuous activities for a period of time. Some discomfort or swelling at the injection site may occur but typically resolves within a few days. -
