Dermaplaning Procedure
The acne treatment procedure is tailored to each individual's unique needs and may involve a combination of topical treatments, oral medications, in-office procedures, and skincare maintenance for optimal results.

Preparation:
The skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. It is also dried completely to ensure the blade glides smoothly. -
Exfoliation:
A licensed professional uses a sterile surgical scalpel held at a 45-degree angle to gently scrape the skin in short, swift strokes to remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). -
Post Procedure Care:
After exfoliation, the skin is often treated with a soothing toner and moisturiser. Sunscreen is applied to protect the newly exposed skin from UV damage. -
Maintenance:
Patients are advised to avoid direct sun exposure and apply sunscreen regularly. It's recommended to keep the skin moisturised and avoid the use of harsh exfoliants or treatments for a few days.
